Sales Mobile App 2.21 SMA Release Notes

This release is all about making your Sales Mobile App experience smoother, more reliable, and easier to use. We’ve focused on stability, notifications, and a bunch of behind-the-scenes improvements to keep you moving fast and frustration-free.


UI & Workflow Improvements

We’ve polished up the app’s interface and workflows, making sure everything looks great and works seamlessly across all your daily sales tasks.

  • Multiple sections, including tasks, leads history, notifications, and follow-ups, were updated for consistency and reliability, so you can count on a smoother experience everywhere you tap.

  • Various pages were reviewed and updated to ensure everything looks and works as expected in the latest production builds.


Improved Error Handling & App Stability

We’ve made the app more resilient to network hiccups and backend errors, so you can keep working without interruptions.

  • To prevent backend errors and race conditions, the app now preloads and caches the build number at startup, ensures headers are always up to date, and introduces a global error interceptor for more user-friendly error messages.

  • The app now checks network status when moving from background to foreground, displays a toast if the connection is lost, and prevents API calls without a connection. This also ensures headers are always current before any API call, reducing errors and improving reliability.


Push Notification Reliability

Push notifications are now more reliable, with improved logic to reset error states and ensure you never miss an important update.

  • The app now resets push notification errors automatically when the app is re-initialized, and ensures notifications resume as expected. It also prevents duplicate API calls and improves error handling for notification delivery.


Testing & Platform Consistency

We’ve addressed platform-specific quirks and improved the testing process to ensure consistent experiences across Android and iOS.

  • Android push notification fixes have been verified, and iOS improvements are ready for production in the next version.
